We have fully self-contained 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. We also have studio apartments.

Are there any penthouse apartments ?
Yes, Grand Palais does offer penthouse apartments - each with it's own exclusive outdoor entertainment area with bbq, outdoor table settings, etc
1, 2 and 3 bedroom penthouse apartments are available.

Do the apartments have a spa ? Yes, all the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, and the penthouse units have spas. How far are you from the Airport ? Brisbane Airport is around 100kms - 1 hour + 15 minutes drive. Maroochydore Airport is approx 12 kms north Shuttle buses are available from both Airports to Grand Palais. How far is it to Mooloolaba? There is a wonderful beachside walking path across the road and a few minutes walk around the corner is Mooloolaba and another great range of shops and restaurants.

What facilities are nearby?
Grand Palais Holiday apartments are perfectly located opposite the Alexandra Headland Surf Patrolled Beach. Local facilities include Maroochydore Public Library, Mooloolaba and Cotton Tree Swan Bowls Club, Cotton Tree Olympic Swimming Pool, Cotton Tree Park, Mooloolaba Surf Club, Alex Surf Club, Maroochydore Surf Club, heaps of restaurants and heaps of shopping are on your doorstep walking distance. There is also the Alex Hotel including the New blue bar and bottleshop.

What are the local attractions ? Australia Zoo - Crikey !!,  Underwater World, Big Pineapple, Ginger Factory, Aussie World, Etamogah Pub, Eumundi Markets, Montville and Maleny, Olympia Theme Park, Hinterland Tours, River Cruises, Golf Courses, etc How can Tours be arranged ? The staff at Grand Palais can arrange all Tours at no extra cost - just ask at Reception. Does every room have a view?  Yes, every room does have a view - nearly all apartments have a view of the ocean.

How close is the beach?
50 meters !!
Grand Palais Holiday apartments are perfectly located opposite the the patrolled area of Alex beach.
There is no resort closer to Alex beach than Grand Palais.

How close is great surfing?
Grand Palais is 50 meters from the "Bluff" surf break.

How close is the shopping? One of Queensland's largest shopping centres, Sunshine Plaza is only 3-4 minutes drive. Mooloolaba is 10 minutes walk, Maroochydore CBD is on your door-step, so shopping is everywhere. Walk in any direction and you will find everything from convenience stores to exclusive boutiques. Are your apartments close to restaurants? Grand Palais has an on site Thai restaurant, plus there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance. Something for everybody.

Are there any good fishing spots nearby?
YES.MOST DEFINATELY - You have the choice of River, Beach or Off Shore fishing.
Why not hire a boat and explore the majestic Maroochy River.

Are there any good walks close by?
Yes. Cotton Tree  to Mooloolaba is fully pathed. You can walk along the waterfront both ways for several kilometres. Follow a wide coastal path along the Maroochy River and the beaches to Mooloolaba. Perfectly safe for children and bikes as well.

Is there public transport?
Yes. The local SunBus service stops conveniently 100 metres away, and services the entire Sunshine Coast - Caloundra to Noosa -  as well as services to Brisbane and the Airport.

How far are Mooloolaba & Noosa?
Mooloolaba is a few minutes walk. Noosa is a quick 20 minute drive.
